This site is owned and operated by iGoDirect Group. IGO GROUP (NZ) LIMITED  NZBN: 9429051288716 (“iGo”). Your privacy on the internet is of the utmost importance to us. At iGo, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy policy discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

In this privacy policy, ‘Personal Information’ means information relating to an individual which can be used to identify that individual. iGo collects Personal Information in order to conduct its business, to provide and market its services and to meet its legal obligations (or for any other purpose you have consented to). When collecting Personal Information, we will inform you of the purpose, how it will be used, who it will be shared with, and the consequences if you choose not to provide it.

IGODIRECT GROUP COLLECTS TWO TYPES OF INFORMATION:
  • Personal Information that users provide directly. This information is provided directly by users, and we use this information to provide the Digital Gift Card service, as well as interactive or personalised services such as electronic newsletters, message boards or forums, ability to share links or pages with friend, polls and surveys. We may request personal information to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations or to verify your identity in the event of unlawful or suspicious activity or for compliance purposes.
  • Aggregated information that does not include Personal Information, gathered by tracking mechanisms, aggregating poll or survey results or by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information is collected to allow us to better tailor our content to readers’ needs. We may share this information with third parties such as advertisers, sponsors, partners and any Mobile Wallet Providers (as defined under the Terms and Conditions) to better understand the demographics of our audience, allow them to advertise more effectively and assist with any queries or issues relating to the Digital Gift Card..

As part of the website offering, we offer the following free services, which require voluntary submission of certain Personal Information by users. Users are free to determine whether they require these services:

Electronic news (Dispatches)

In the future we plan to offer free electronic news to users. Users may subscribe to news by providing their email address to iGo. Users may at any time unsubscribe by following the link provided in every news bulletin. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.

“E-mail this to a friend” Service

Our site users can choose to electronically forward a link, page, or documents to someone else by clicking “e-mail this to a friend”. The user must provide their email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and shared with the recipient so they know who sent the email.

Polling

We may offer interactive polls to users so they can easily share their opinions with other users and see what our audience thinks about important issues. Opinions or other responses to polls are aggregated and are not identifiable to any particular user. iGo may use a system to “tag” users after they have voted, so they can vote only once on a particular question. This tag is not combined with information about individual users.

Surveys

iGo may occasionally conduct optional user surveys to better target our content to our audience. We may share the aggregated results from these surveys with our sponsors, advertisers and partners.

COOKIES AND TRACKING OF AGGREGATED INFORMATION

iGo tracks user traffic patterns to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. We collect this information to improve site functionality, user experience and to improve our services.

When you visit the iGo website, we may use automated technology (such as usage monitoring software, cookies, and sessions) to collect and store certain information about your visit, including without limitation:
