Web-to-Wallet Digital Visa Cards
1. Open the link sent to you via email or SMS.
2. Verify your identity using the one-time password (OTP) sent to your email or mobile.

3. Add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — your device will guide you through the steps. Or, copy the card details manually into your wallet app.

4. Follow the prompts to complete setup — then you’re ready to tap, pay, and spend!
There are 3 easy ways to check your balance:
1. From your email
Open your Digital Visa Gift Card email → click the link → enter your OTP.
Your current balance will appear instantly.
2. Through the website
Visit igo.cards → verify your OTP.
All your cards and balances will be displayed.
3. From your mobile wallet
Open your Apple/Google Wallet → select your gift card → tap the three dots (top right) → choose “Card Details” → tap “Website.”
Enter your OTP to view your cards, balances, and expiry dates.

Open your Apple/Google Wallet → select your gift card → tap the three dots (top right) → choose “Card Details” → tap “Website.”
Enter your OTP to view your cards, balances, and expiry dates.
Once your Digital Visa Gift Card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, you can use it just like a physical Visa card - but on your phone.
- Unlock your phone
- Hold it near the payment terminal
- The card will automatically appear and process as a Visa contactless payment
- Look for the Visa or contactless symbol at checkout

You can pay using your card number or by selecting Apple Pay or Google Pay if the website supports it.
To retrieve your card details, open the link in your original email or visit igo.cards and verify your OTP.
Then click ‘Load card details’ and copy the Card Number, BSB, and CVV into the payment page.
Yes. A maximum of 8 – 10 cards can be added to a mobile wallet (limits can vary across devices).
Yes! Our digital Visa cards can be used for online purchases using the digital Visa card details which can be found on the iGo Card Portal.
Make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of Apple software/operating system on your phone, then:
- Agree to all Apple terms and conditions (i.e. iCloud, Apple ID)
- Shut down and restart your phone
- Try to add your card again
If you are still experiencing issues, here are some other tips:
- Try on both WiFi and cellular 4G/5G network connections
- You’re not connected to VPN
- Time zone settings set to automatic
- Apple ID – Check payment & delivery details are valid, in your name and correct postcode
- General > Settings > Device name – no emoji’s or symbols in the device name
Alternatively, you can add the card details manually to your wallet from the iGo Card Portal.

To add your Digital Visa card, ensure your Google wallet is set to Default Payment and your notifications are turned on for Google Wallet.
- Open Google Pay/Google Wallet app.
- Click Customer Account in top right hand corner
- Click Payment Setup and ensure there are FIVE items ticked.
*There must be 5 ticks for the card to work* - Ensure notifications are turned ON
Alternatively, you can manually add the card details to your wallet through the iGo Card Portal.

Using iGoDirect For Business
Signing up is easy. Simply ensure you have access to your business email and visit the website www.igodirect.co.nz and complete the steps.
To sign up as a business account, simply follow the below steps:
- Click on the ‘Sign up’ button from the home page
- Fill in the details and click on the ‘Register’ button
- As we're bound by the Know Your Customer legislation, we'll need to get in touch with you by phone to confirm some details before activating your account. This process may take 1 to 2 business days to complete.
- Once this check has been completed, and your account is approved, you will receive a Welcome Email with a temporary password.
- You may log in to access your account and top up your float, ready for your first purchase.
Our float system is a pool of preloaded funds that lets you quickly purchase gift cards through our self-service portal.
To top up your float:
Go to Payment Details and request the amount you need.
Choose to pay by bank transfer or credit card.
An invoice will be issued, and once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email notifying you that your funds are ready to use.
Please allow 1–2 business days for your float to be topped up.

- Log in and click your name in the top-right corner, then select Sender Profiles.
- You’ll see an existing default profile. Click New to create a fresh one.
- In the Sender Details tab:
- Give your profile a clear name
- Link it to the correct brand and sender details
- Go to the Email Settings tab to apply your branding:
- Upload your logo or custom banner (check the required dimensions and file formats)
- Choose your branding colours using the button colour selector
- Pick your preferred gift icon
- Edit the email heading and open instructions if desired
- Save your changes — your customised profile is now ready to use.
Simply choose a card, set an amount, select a sender profile, decide whether your gift will be delivered via email, SMS, or downloadable URL, and then complete payment.
- Log in to your account.
- From the Store page, choose your card.
- Set the amount and enter your recipient’s details.
- If you need custom values, multiple cards, or URL downloads, refer to the next video for advanced options.
- Add a personalised message or choose from our suggested messages. You can send now or schedule for later.
- Choose the sender profile you want your recipient to see.
- Click Checkout.
- Select your payment method — credit card or float.
- If you’d like to set up a float, contact us and we’ll organise it for you.
And that’s it — your recipient receives an instant digital gift card with your custom branding, delivered straight to their phone and email.
eGift cards are emailed to the recipient’s email address. An SMS delivery option is also available.
An email will be delivered free of charge, and if selected SMS will be charged at a rate of $0.10 per SMS.
